Caffeine levels can be affected by how much tea you are using, water temperature and steeping time.  The stronger your tea is, the more caffeine you have extracted into your cup. *Interestingly enough you can remove 80% of the caffeine from your tea by simply rinsing the leaves for 30 seconds before steeping your tea.
