Looking for a cocktail that’s both warming and flavorful? The Maple Rye Chai Toddy is the perfect choice. It brings together the rich warmth of whisky with the bold spices of chai, but with a unique preparation that sets it apart from the classic hot toddy.

  • 1oz Chai Teafusion
  • Orange peel (Lemon or lime can be used as a substitute, depending on your preference)
  • Honey (Optional – though we suggest trying this recipe without any sweetener for a more balanced flavor)
  • 1-3 oz Sparkling water

Directions:

Teafusion:

  1. In a bowl, combine the Chai tea and Park Distillery Maple Rye. Let it sit at room temperature for about 45 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
  2. After 45 minutes, strain out the tea leaves

Teatail:

  1. In a glass, mix 1oz of your Chai Teafusion with 1-3oz of sparkling water, depending on your desired strength.
  2. Add a strip of citrus peel and, if desired, a spoon of honey to sweeten the mix.
  3. Serve either at room temperature or over ice. For an even cozier version, swap the sparkling water for hot water for a warming drink that’s perfect for colder days.
